ANOTHER fad is set to bite the dust. Fold away those teeny weeny scooters you splashed out on at Christmas, they're now out of date.
Something miles better has rolled along.
The new must-have is 'Street Flyers' and I love 'em. They are high tech trainer-type boots on wheels which lock up into the sole of the shoe when the skater reaches his-her destination and become walking shoes.
What a brilliant idea. They're not cheap at £99.95, but well worth having. I'd love a pair if I wasn't too old. My trouble is I now hurt when I fall.
What a cracking means of transport -- as long as there's not too many flashing about on the pavements and they don't make an awful din.
