Radcliffe Borough 3 Harrogate Town 0 RADCLIFFE Boro produced their best football since the early season FA Cup glory to beat the Unibond Division One current form team Harrogate Town at Stainton Park.

James Price had to clear off the goal line in the first minute but Boro soon gained the upper hand.

On seven minutes a short corner saw defender Simon Kelly control, turn and shoot for the first and three minutes before the break Eamonn Kelly got a second firing in from 25 yards with the ball bouncing awkwardly in front of the keeper.

After 59 minutes Lee Kissock's cross saw Scott Wilson's run distract visitors defenders and Neil Hardy was left to head home the third.

Penalty appeals were turned away when Kissock appeared to be dragged down as Harrogate fought back but found Boro keeper Danny Hurst performing at the same high level as his teamates.

Mark Dempsey was named as man of the match.

In a hectice week Boro entertain Matlock Town tomorrow night, travel away to Guiseley on Thursday and Workington on Saturday.
