SOLOIST Elizabeth Couling will star in Blackburn Symphony Orchestra's next performance at the end of this month.
Voted as the BBC Young Musician of the Year woodwind finalist, Elizabeth will play an Oboe Concerto by Strauss.
Other features will include Overture Die Meistersinger by Wagner and Brahms' Symphony number four.
Conducted by Stephen Carleston, the concert takes place this Saturdayat the Westholme Theatre, in Meins Road, Blackburn, at 7.30pm. Tickets costing £7 adults/£5 concessions are available on the door or from Westholme or Time and Tune, in Blackburn.
