ALKINCOATS Park in Colne looks a lot cleaner and brighter, thanks to a team effort.
The Friends of Alkincoats Park, Pendle Council Parks and Cemeteries and Pendle Pride got together to paint the bowls pavilion, cover up graffiti and clean up from the bowling green to the back of the children's play area.
Parks outreach officer Fred Stewart said: "We filled a skip half-full of rubbish and the place looks a lot better for the work. We only hope people will keep it that way and throw rubbish in the litter bins."
