SINGER Julie Duckworth has made it through into the semi-final of a nightclub karaoke competition.
Julie, of Ravenglass Close, Blackburn, won the first heat of the 11-week competition after singing 'Believe' by Cher.
Run by the owners of Castle 'Knightclub', in Paradise Street, Blackburn, the singing contest runs every Thursday from 8pm until late and offers entrants the chance of winning £100.
Anybody wanting to take place in heat two is invited along to the nightclub this Thursday, with a choice of up to 700 songs to pick from.
