LICENSEES John and Anne Staley raised their glasses after becoming the regional winners of a national competition.
The couple, who run the Borough Hotel, in Grimshaw Street, Darwen, will now face 16 other regional finalists in the grand final after beating competition from 700 tenants.
The competition, which is now in its fifth year, is run by the Pub Estate Company, and this year challenged entrants to drive the most sales as part of a four-month national promotion.
John and Anne, who have run the Borough since last July, won £1,000 worth of high street vouchers of their choice and will attend the grand final to be held at a gala dinner at the Savoy Hotel, Blackpool, on Sunday.
Anne said: "My husband and I have been in the trade for 13 years and have never won anything like this before.
"We'd like to thank all our regulars and the staff for their support."
