BURY FC Social Club will be rocking to a local band made up of Shakers supporters in two weeks time.
The three-man group "Rollercoaster" consists of Pete Sherlock, Greg Edyvean and Stuart McPherson and they will be performing at a special Cheque Presentation Night on Saturday, April 14.
That's the date when organiser Anita Watson hopes to have all the estimated £7,000 sponsorship money in from Saturday's walk to Oldham Athletic and she urges everyone to get in their hard-earned dosh in by Friday, April 12.
The money can be dropped off with Joan Curtis at the Bury FC Commercial Office, Gigg Lane, during office hours or with Social Club steward Ian Fitzsimmons in the evening.
As well as the band fans will be entertained by a disco and tickets are a bargain £2 with anyone who completed the walk given free admission.
And it is hoped the Shakers first team squad - fresh from a victory over Reading that afternoon! - will make an appearance after travelling up from the Madejski Stadium.
