ALL EYES were on Blackpool and the Fylde College students at the weekend (March 30 -April 1) as a Big Brother-style fund-raiser got under way.
A group of ten students were locked away at Emmanuel Christian school off Lodge Lane, Poulton, in the three night 'Little Sister' event. The stunt was to raise money for Helping Hand, a charity involved in helping people with drug and alcohol issues.
Stephanie Fyers, event co-ordinator, said: "We decided it would be a really good idea to do a Big Brother style event. We all decided on donating funds to Helping Hand because they do such good work in drugs awareness and supporting those who need help."
Like Big brother, the happenings of the three day event were captured on secret cameras. The students were set tasks and team-building exercises to do throughout the weekend.
Tutor Helen Jones praise her students' fund-raising efforts. "It's a great idea and they have worked really hard in ensuring its success," she said.
