FAMILY business connections spanning three generations came to an end last Friday.
That's when Christine Gregson closed her Tyldesley DIY business, effectively bringing to an end the Gregson family connection with the Milk Street builders' yard which had been started by the grandfather of her late husband, Bob. Mrs Gregson, who lives in Worsley, said the physical demand of running the business had taken its toll since the death of her husband, who in September 1997 collapsed at the town centre builders' merchants premises. She admitted: "Leaving here will be difficult." The yard site and premises are up for sale.
