THE licensees of the Jubilee public house in Blakey Moor, Blackburn, have appeared in court charged in connection with a major disturbance at the pub following the Blackburn Rovers v Burnley match.
Thomas Fox, 46, and Linda Fox, 53, who gave their home address as Beech Grove, Darwen, were arrested after police, wearing body armour and carrying riot shields, entered the pub on Sunday night.
Thomas Fox pleaded not guilty to resisting a police officer and using threatening behaviour and Linda Fox pleaded not guilty to being drunk and disorderly.
The case was adjourned until May 17 and they were both remanded on bail.
