TONIGHT'S Selhurst Park showdown might be make-or-break but Wimbledon coach Stewart Robson insists neither his side or the Clarets are under pressure.

Both teams are looking to mount a late sprint towards the top six, but Robson believes their status as outsiders for promotion means the heat is off.

"We are under no pressure at all," he said. "Everybody has written us off saying that we can't do it so we are under no pressure and I'm sure Burnley are the same.

"They are just pleased to be in this division. It's a stability year for them after getting promotion but they will see it as a good scalp if they beat us."

The Clarets collected their first win back in Division One against the Dons last August and while Wimbledon are a greatly improved side Robson is still expecting Burnley to push them hard.

He added: "It will be a tough game because they have just had a great win over Preston.

"They'd had a bad run but now they've got the Preston win it might just build their confidence up."

That run includes four successive home wins. And with six of their last eight games at Selhurst Park the Dons might well be dark horses for the play-offs if they can overcome revitalised Burnley tonight.

New signing David Nielsen scored his first goal for the club in Saturday's 3-1 victory over Birmingham City and feels that Terry Burton's side has what it takes to set up a Premiership return.

"Confidence is high amongst the boys and we believe we can make the play-offs." he said.
