BLACKBURN Diocesan Adoption Agency is holding an information evening to help prospective parents decide if adoption is the right move for them in an informal, non pressure environment.
The event is at 7.45pm on Thursday, April 19 at St Mary's House, in the grounds of Blackburn Cathedral.
The government is hoping to increase the number of children in local authority care who are placed for adoption and there are twice as many children needing adoption as there are approved adoptive parents. People from all backgrounds are welcome, and individual interviews are available.
