PRESTON'S goalkeeper Tepi Moilanen could miss the rest of the season following Gareth Taylor's tackle in Burnley's 3-0 victory on Friday night.

The Finnish international damaged his ankle in the one-on-one incident and David Lucas will step in for tonight's clash against bottom club Huddersfield at Deepdale.

"It is disappointing to lose Tepi but I have no fear with David going into the side," said Preston manager David Moyes, who is also missing Michael Jackson. The defender is sidelined for his second game with a back injury.

"It gives David another chance and I was delighted with his form in the early part of the season."

The relegation-threatened Terriers pressed sixth-placed Preston all the way earlier in the season with a goalless draw at the McAlpine Stadium and Moyes expects more of the same.

"Huddersfield have done really well in the last month or so.

"They have to win games to avoid relegation and they have some great players who maybe in the early part of the season hadn't performed as well as they hoped."

Moyes will have to decide if he should stick with his three striker system which worked so well earlier in the season -- although the link up of Jon Macken, David Healy and on-loan Richard Cresswell didn't quite come off at Turf Moor.

And, after the loss to the Clarets, Moyes is looking to get their play-off charge back on track and build on their record of just two defeats in eleven games.

"It is nice when the expectations are to try and be in the play-offs rather than just trying to avoid relegation," added Moyes.
