EXILED Claret Damian Bromley travelled from Somerset to the derby game of Blackburn and ended up watching it in an Accrington pub.
Police cleared the Black Horse pub and began escorting the Burnley fans back to the railway station but Bromley was lagging behind and fell to the ground when an officer took hold of him.
Bromley, 22, of Station Road, St Georges, Weston-Super-Mare, admitted a breach of the peace and was bound over in £100 for 12 months. A charge of being drunk and disorderly was withdrawn.
Michael Blacklidge, defending, said Bromley's cousin had been meant to arrange a ticket for the game but when this did not materialise he got his girlfriend to drop him off at the pub.
"What he had not bargained for was being told to leave the pub and escorted to the station," said Mr Blacklidge. "His girlfriend was coming to pick him up adn he was trying to explain that to the officer."
