A MAN was still in a critical condition today after an accident in which his car crashed into a tree.
Neil Heywood, 23, of Limefield Avenue, Whalley, received multiple injures when his Vauxhall Nova came off the road in Whalley Old Road, Billington, on Friday afternoon. As his car rolled over Mr Heywood was thrown from the vehicle. He remains in intensive care at Royal Preston Hospital.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident.
