The double-decker trailer can carry up to 45 pallets, almost twice the number held on a conventional model.

And according to managing director Henry Gilbraith, the 45 foot trailer is making an impact on the nightly run to Rugby. "We used to send two trailers down every night," he said. "With the double-decker trailer, we only need one which obviously reduces costs."

The curtain-sided trailer was built to Gilbraith's own specifications by Wilsons of Keighley.
