A PUB landlord was found dead in his pub by a cleaner turning up for work.
David Eli Dewhurst ran Eli's Palace at the Roebuck Pub in Lower Deardengate, Haslingden, with his wife Pat.
He was found at 8.15am yesterday.
A police spokesman said there were no suspicious circumstances.
David and Pat have owned the Roebuck since 1983 and in 1987 decided to adopt the name Eli's Palace after David's middle name.
