WITHOUT five first choice players Chorley folded disappointingly against a Kendal side who deservedly collected three points in their fight to avoid relegation from the UniBond First Division.
A cracking second minute strike from livewire Dave Foster gave deputy Chorley keeper Paul Eatock no chance. They were given a further double boost in a three minute spell just before half time.
Careless underhit back passes by Steve Hook and Mark Court put goals on a plate for Lee O'Keefe and Mike Garrity to leave the Magpies trailing 3-0 at the break.
In Chorley's best attack of the first half, Neil Mitchell dragged his shot wide of the far post after smart approach play by Neil Matthews and Keith Evans.
