The Warriors U10S conceded defeat in the final minute after a brave fightback which saw them level the score 24-24.

They went in to an early lead against Widnes Moorefield, but several dropped balls gifted the opposition with two tries. The Warriors failed to convert several chances and trailed 16-10 at half time.

A poor start to the second half resulted in the deficit increasing to 24-10. The fightback then began led by Chris How and Man of the Match James Green. However, in the dying minutes to make the final score 28-24.

Best supporting player was Chris How, top tackler was Stephen Bryan, most improved player was Kieran Owens and the most improved tackler award went to Stuart McLean.

Starting again with an under strength team, the Warriors U15s struggled against a strong Leigh East team who eventually ran out 30-0 winners.

Although putting in some valiant attempts, the Warriors were unable to make the breakthrough.

Man of the match was Jamie Jackson, runner up was James Franklin and top tackler was Phil Conaghan.
