POOL'S promotion hopes are well and truly back on track after their superb away victory at Halifax.

And now the coundown is on as the Seasiders enter their last six games of seasons in which they could confirm a place in the play-offs or even a fourth placed position which could result in automatic promotion depending on the outcome of the current investigation into the alleged financial irregularites at Chesterfield Town.

First opponents for Pool are Carlisle United away on Saturday. With the Cumbrians battling for survival this could be a tough encounter given their record of survival in recent seasons.

On Easter Monday the Seasiders are set to entertain fellow promotion candidates Cheltenham Town at Bloomfield Road (kick-off 3pm).

The next match is against Shreswbury Town away on April 21 followed by the re-arranged fixture against Rochdale at home on Thursday April 26.

The remaining two fixtures are Barnet at home on April 28 and Darlington away on May 5.

IN an effort to improve customer services for the remaining home matches, Blackpool FC season ticket holders and supporters who pre-book their tickets for the South and East Paddocks will be guaranteed entrance. The following procedure will be implemented to cater for supporters paying cash on the day via turnstiles:-

The club urges all supporters to pre-book their tickets for both the South and East Paddocks via the Ticket Office during the week prior to games. Tickets can be booked over the telephone using a debit or credit card on 01253 404331.

At the close of business on the day prior to the game, all remaining spaces will be allocated to turnstiles for supporters who wish to pay cash on the day.

Junior and Old Age Pensioners will enter the ground through the same turnstile as the season ticket holders.

Once the tickets on the turnstiles have been sold, there will be no entrance for anyone not producing a ticket.

Once an area is full, supporters will be directed to parts of the ground with surplus capacity.

This method will ensure that should a season ticket holder or pre-purchased ticket holder arrive at the ground late, their space will still be available.

The club has issued a statement saying it apologises to any season ticket holder or supporter who has experienced problems.
