A CLEVELEYS pet stall is helping out an animal sanctuary in distress.
Marie Ruddy and Carol Ashness, of Pampered Pets, in the Victoria Market in Victoria Road East, have been collecting donations at their stall and make weekly gifts of food to the Easterleigh animal sanctuary in St Annes.
The sanctuary has a cash crisis because none of its animals can be moved during the foot-and-mouth epidemic.
Volunteer representative Jim McLellan collected the latest Pampered Pets donation from Marie (centre) and Carol.
