SWINTON have no further injury worries, but coach Mike Gregory is still breathing fire over the fact that his team face the game's top two sides in the space of 48 hours.

The Lions travel to Keighley today and take on leaders Leigh at Gigg Lane on Sunday (kick-off 3pm).

"I can't emphasise enough how ridiculous it is to ask the players to perform like this. They are not animals and we are not running a circus,'' said Gregory, who may well ask his players to put all their eggs in one basket against Keighley and forget trying to match Leigh on Sunday.

Keighley coach Steve Deakin has received some uplifting news in the past couple of days.

Centre Daio Powell's broken arm, sustained in the game at Whitehaven, is not as bad as was first thought and he has indicated that his intentions are to return to the game as quickly as possible.

"Daio will have the injury in plaster for up to three weeks and he could be back in action inside six weeks,'' said Deakin, who may well be without the services of Ian Hughes, Nathan Antonik and Darren Carter for the game against Swinton.

On-loan half back Chris Ross, who was sent off for a high tackle on Whitehaven full back Wesley Wilson, could also be ruled out of Deakin's plans, pending his appearance before the Disciplinary Committee next week.
