A 78-YEAR-OLD doctor crashed his Mercedes car into a stone wall after skidding on black ice on Whinney Lane, Mellor.
And Nil Ratan Adhya blamed pressure of work and family problems for forgetting to report the incident to police.
Dr Adhya, of Hob Green, Mellor, pleaded guilty to failing to report and was fined £150 with £30 costs and his licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
