Leigh Under 7s 20, Burton 20: A tight game produced the right result. Leigh's tries came from Thomas Lloyd (2), James Wilkinson and Marcus Williams. There were good performances from Matthew Wilkinson and Abbey Ultrum. Thomas Lloyd was man of the match.
Leigh Under 8s 20, Burton 15: Leigh just edged out winners in an open game. Tries were scored by James Hatton (3) and Sam Peet. Good defence came from Charlotte Rance and Adam Tustin. Man of the match was Sam Peet.
Leigh Under 11s 28, Burton 7: Leigh saved their best rugby of the season for what will probably be their final game. Christopher Marron and Chris Boyle (2) touched down in the first half and David Sale (2) and Dale Parkinson added conversions. Touring side Burton rallied and scored early in the second half but Leigh came bakc again with a Roger Stafford try and Parkinson conversion.
Leigh Under 12s 35, Blackburn 5: Leigh's re-shuffled side scored tries through Baker, Middleton-Adams (2), Halton and Lyon.
