ROVERS stars Craig Hignett and Stig Inge Bjornebye will be making a guest appearance at the Blackburn branch of the Skipton Building Society on Thursday.

The building society has already raised £5,000 for the club's youth development programme through special savings accounts which have attracted a big response from fans.

The 'Rovers Investment Accounts' are available from Skipton branches in Accrington, Blackburn, Clitheroe and Lancaster. The club receives 0.75 per cent of the average balance hel;d in the accounts.

The Blackburn Rovers stars will be meeting customers from 2pm and there will be a free prize draw for a signed football shirt.

Skipton's Blackburn area manager Neil Burton said the promotion was a great opportunity for fans to meet the players. "The Rovers account is an excellent was for fans to contribute to their favourite team," he added.
