AT least the Leigh teenager who shinned up the war memorial has had the guts to apologise publicly for his actions. The mystery lad, who had to be rescued by firemen, has been ticked off by police and has promised he will not do anything again to show disrespect to the memory of the war heroes. Let's hope he keeps his word and has learned a lesson from his humiliation.
