nTOY cap guns look set to be given the bullet.
Eurocrats have decreed that they are dangerously loud and are bringing in lower noise limits in August.
However the cap makers say they can't make them any quieter and 5,000 jobs could be at risk. Isn't it ridiculous?
The spoilsports say the caps go off at 140 decibels and could affect a child's hearing. They plan to reduce the limit to 125 decibels.
Why don't they just proclaim that the guns should contain flags which drop out with the word bang written on them?
