A COMMUNITY group in Burnley is hoping a sponsor will float in to give them something to dance about.
Youngsters in Brunshaw were looking forward to taking part in the annual May Day Festival procession through the town -- Maypole dancing with their May Queen on a truck float.
But the owner of the lorry, which works on local farms, pulled out as a precaution against foot and mouth disease.
Now Brunshaw Residents Action Group is hoping another sponsor will come forward to offer a flat-back.
Said local councillor Andrew Holder: "Time is running out and we just don't want to disappoint the kids. We are hoping someone will come along to save the day." Anyone able to help contact Coun Holder on 01282 426561 or Michael Nailey on 01282 459506.
