USED printer and fax cartridges are being used to help the blind and save the environment in a new fund-raising appeal. The Royal National Institute for the Blind wants people from Journal-land to donate their used toner cartridges from laser and inkjet printers instead of throwing them away. They will provide a free cartridge saver bin with free delivery and pick-up.
The RNIB will earn valuable funds from the cartridges which will be refilled and reused. For a collecting box call the RNIB Recycling Hotline on FREEPHONE 0800 781 2400 or e-mail gedwards@rnib.org.uk
