EQUIPMENT in storage at Rossendale Hospital will soon be helping children out in Romania.
Members of Clitheroe Ladies Circle with help from Round Table members from all over East Lancashire moved the equipment from the old physiotherapy department on to a truck provided by Earls Transport of Clayton-le-Moors.
Clitheroe member and national community service officer Janet Wareing said: "The transport company will be taking the good to Dartford and from there to an orphanage and hospice in Romania.
"They are doing it at a quarter of the normal price and the Round Table nationally has paid for the transport costs."
Goods included special paediatric equipment, a facsimile machine, a computer and keyboards.
