BOLTON Wanderers expect to have leading scorer Michael Ricketts back in action for their crucial Sky TV showpiece Division One clash against Birmingham City at the Reebok tonight.
Ricketts has been out through suspension and his return is sure to bolster the misfiring Wanderers' front line.
But midfield man Paul Warhurst is still struggling to recover from an ankle injury picked up in the 1-1 draw with Stockport County and the former Blackburn Rovers man is unlikely to figure.
Bolton's automatic promotion hopes were given an unexpected boost following Blackburn Rovers 2-1 home defeat against Fulham and Wanderers boss Sam Allardyce admitted he was delighted by Fulham's winner.
"I did a little dance," he said. "There's no point hiding the fact I was delighted. For once other peoples' results have helped us instead of us helping them, as we have been doing over the past four or five games."
Bolton's winger Ricardo Gardner has been called up to play in Jamaica's World Cup qualifier on April 25 against Honduras. Meanwhile midfield man Gareth Farrelly has been named in the Republic of Ireland squad to face Andorra on the same day.
