A PROPOSED golf driving range, associated parking, buildings and shop, at land off Northcote Road, Langho, has been refused permission by Ribble Valley Council.
The proposal outlined a scheme to create 20 bays in total with building floor space amounting to around 20 square metres.
Members of the planning committee agreed with planners that the plans would create an unwanted suburbanising development in the open countryside outside any defined settlement boundary and, therefore, cause visual detriment.
