A 29-YEAR-OLD man who persistently flouted court orders and drove while disqualified was jailed for two months by Blackburn magistrates.
The court heard that Gary Peter Gordon was disqualified on March 1 and was then caught riding his motorcycle on March 12 and March 13.
Gordon, 29, of Harwood Street, Darwen, pleaded guilty to two offences of driving while disqualified.
As well as the prison sentence he was disqualified from driving for two years.
Julie Reddish, prosecuting, said that on March 12 an officer was parked in St Annes Street when he was approached by Gordon, who was riding his motorbike.
At that stage the officer had no reason to be suspicious of Gordon's driving status but by the following day he had discovered that Gordon had been disqualified and another officer stopped and arrested him riding his motorcycle on Canterbury Street.
Sarah Perkins, defending, said as well as working at a car valeting company he had set a cafe called Top Cats.
