ENGINEERING drawings could earn a talented junior school pupil a family trip to Disneyland.
The national drawing competition entitled 'Today's Engineers' for five to seven-year-olds is running again for the eighth year.
Children are asked to draw or paint a picture of either an engineer at work or of something designed by engineers that has helped them or someone they know. Closing date for entries is Friday May 25.
The competition -- organised by 16 of the UK's leading professional engineering bodies -- aims to encourage youngsters to become more aware of the role and importance of engineering. Details of the competition are being sent to every UK primary school. The national winner will receive £100 and a family ticket for Disneyland, Paris, as well as £1,000 for technology equipment for their school.
