THE East Lancashire Midweek Summer Seven-a-Side League has got under way.

And last season's Division One champions Rightway Cash and Carry have already dropped their first points of the campaign after being held 0-0 against BI Group.

However, Rightway still lead the table at the early stage of the season.

This year's favourites Babar Zaman Restaurant also found the going tough after they were held to a draw by Moorings FC.

FJM Pawn Brokers beat Lord Raglan to pick up their first win of the season with ex-Burnley player Nathan Peel scoring four goals.

In the Second Division Belgrave lead the way and have won their two opening games, including a 5-1 win against Audley Com Centre 5-1.

Bowland Wanderers have also kept up their 100 per cent record beating Princess Trust 6-0.

The Third Division which is mainly new teams, Alarms and Communication beat Comfort Upholstery 4-1 while Saj Driving School beat Taj Technics 6-4 with another trialist player Shakil Butt scoring his second hat-trick in two games. DIVISION ONE
