THE garden at Dyneley Hall, Cliviger, will be open to the public on Sunday.
The public are being invited to see the one-and-a-half acres of garden by Sir Simon Towneley in support of the British Red Cross, of which his late wife, Lady Mary, was a long-time officer and supporter.
Lady Mary died earlier this year after a prolonged battle with cancer.
The grounds of Dyneley, just outside Burnley, comprise well tended formal sections containing herbaceous borders, shrub roses, tree peonies, rhododendron and azaleas, a wild garden and a small woodland with some rare trees and beautiful patches of bluebells.
David Bollenberg, senior fund-raiser for British Red Cross Lancashire branch, said: "Gardens such as these are a rare treat as they are a perfect opportunity to have a good look round a garden you'd never normally get to see."
All the money raised by the society's open gardens programme goes to help community services, caring for local people in times of crisis.
