A 34-YEAR-old woman and a 15-year-old girl were sent to Preston Crown Court for trial when they appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with wounding Marie Woods with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Susan Wells, of Hindle Street, Darwen, is alleged to have held Mrs Woods while the girl kicked and punched her in the face.
Mrs Woods suffered a fractured cheek bone in the incident in Grafton Court, Darwen on Sunday.
Wells and the girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were remanded on bail.
