PUPPET-loving pupils at St Mary's Catholic High School, Blackpool, took part in a Puppet Up creation workshop and showed off their masterpieces at the grand finale of the puppet festival last weekend.
Year Seven and Eight children had great fun making and parading the puppets around the school playground. They tried their hands at creating giant dragons, lizards, tortoises and snakes, all of which featured in the final parade of Puppet Up! 2001 -- a Puppet Odyssey, which included professional street performances involving the puppets.
