CONEY Green High School's summer gala was a "grand" occasion in more ways than one.
Almost £3,000 was raised from Sunday's (May 20) event and all the money will go into the Parents' School Fund.
An army aerial rope slide, fun fair, morris dancing, stalls and a raffle all helped to swell the coffers and for the more energetic there was a basketball challenge and a football shoot-out.
