A PEDESTRIAN is in a serious condition following a road accident in Shuttleworth at 11.45pm on Friday (May 18).
Thomas Wolfenden (23), of Bye Road, Shuttleworth, suffered multiple injuries when he was in collision with a car as he was crossing Whalley Road at its junction with Rock Street.
The car involved, a Citroen Xantia, was driven by Gareth Hamer (31), of Holcombe Road, Tottington.
Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information is asked to contact 856 8072.
