FLOODLIGHTS stolen from Blackburn Cathedral were thought to have been taken by drugs gangs to provide heat for the illegal cultivation of cannabis.
Three floodlights which were bolted to the ground and were worth more than £1,000 were stolen from the grounds within a fortnight.
