ONLY recently in the local press people have been subjected to Andrew Oxley praising the Conservative party while slagging off New Labour.
At the same time Lord Peter Smith slags off the Tories and commends the Labour party. Meanwhile Andy Burnham goes to press detailing New Labour's achievements.
Gentlemen, it has to be the people of Leigh before any political party.
