SAINTS have welcomed the RFL's Advisory Panel decision ruling that Mick Higham is their player.
Howard Morris, Saints' chairman, said: "We are delighted with the outcome because we always maintained we acted properly, taking advice from the Rugby Football League at all times. Mick wanted to play for us and we agreed a deal with Leigh".
Higham originally signed a contract with Halifax but could not be registered with the League because he was still contracted to Leigh. He then decided he wanted to join Saints who agreed a deal and the RFL have ruled only this second transfer was valid.
