A MAN has admitted a sex attack on a 51-year-old woman in her home in the middle of the night.
Andrew Geoffrey Makin, from Hindley, had denied burglary and indecent assault and was due to stand trial on Tuesday at Bolton Crown Court. But after discussions between prosecution and defence lawyers, Makin admitted indecent assault.
Makin, 35, of Long Lane, was remanded in custody while pre-sentence and a psychiatrist's reports are prepared for sentencing on July 6.
