THE SUCCESS of a drop-in scheme during adult learner's week has given carers the chance to gain information about the learning and employment opportunities available to them.
The scheme, advocating for work and care, is a Lottery-funded project set up to offer support for carers who are interested in seeking and finding paid work.
Since the project started 18 months ago many carers taking part in the scheme have chosen to learn new skills, or update old ones.
