TWO men in the spotlight have fascinated me this week -- Screaming Jay Hawkins, the 50's R and B star, a father of 57 dotted all over the world, and Mormon Tom Green, who has been found guilty of bigamy for having five wives and 28 children. I was amazed by the Cutting Edge story of Screaming Jay who left his wife and children to go to the store to get some milk and never returned.

While on the road he fathered the multitude who were all ignorant of each other's existence until after his death, when a friend promised to get them all together tracing them through an internet search.

Only five turned up at a planned get together and not one attended his funeral.

Fancy having all that family and no one who cared.

The other 'superdad', if you can call him that, faces 25 years in jail for being outspoken about his situation, outlawed a century ago by the Mormon church, but still going on underground in the States.

Not exactly a George Clooney-type heartthrob, he has married a mother and her two daughters and another two sisters, but they all seem very happy with the situation.

All I can say is the women have got it made with only one man between them to keep happy -- and he must be a glutton for punishment.
