A RESTAURANT has achieved top marks for kitchen quality after a mystery auditor assessed their practices.
Staff at Langroyd Hall, Langroyd Road, Colne don't know when the incognito investigator monitored their kitchen practices, stock calculation and food quality.
But they were delighted when Brewers Fayre let them know they had achieved a top score that means they offer a consistently high level of kitchen service to their customers.
Alan Boyd, manager of Langroyd Hall, said: "I'm very pleased that we have achieved such a high score.
"This result is a credit to all members of staff who have worked hard to maintain the highest standards throughout the kitchen. We pride ourselves on offering freshly cooked food, fantastic value and a warm hearted welcome."
Alan will receive a commemorative plaque at a regional presentation lunch, and staff will be given a special 'Kitchen of Excellence 'hat.
The inspections are part of the Brewers Fayre's nationwide 'Kitchens of Excellence' programme.
