A 37-BED residential care home in Bury is among three such establishments sold in a single day.
Bridge House in Bury, along with Cheshire-based High Peak nursing home and High Peak Lodge, have been acquired by European Care Ltd, a corporate nursing home operator.
The sales were handled by GLP, a national specialist agent in health and long-term care property.
Thalia Turner, director of GLP, said: "There is no doubt that the market remains buoyant for quality, well operated care homes such as these.
"We are experiencing strong demand from both corporate and well-funded individual buyers looking to purchase high registration corporate-style homes."
