A CHURCH where ten windows have been smashed in the last five months is counting the cost after another window was broken on Wednesday night.
Caretaker Walter Sewell checks Hall Fold United Reformed Church, Whitworth, every night and discovered the vandalism at 10pm.
He appealed for neighbours to report any vandalism they see happening to the building to the police.
He said: "We used to have an enclosed church but when that was taken down and left us with an open porch the vandalism started happening."
