INCUBUS: Drive (Epic) -- The Red Hot Chilli Peppers sell ton s of records but will be remembered by no-one. So quite why Incubus try so hard to sound like them is a puzzle. This pulse-less, tune-free acoustic track is four wasted minutes of your life. Features voguish scratching. (3/10) SM

DELIRIOUS?: Waiting For The Summer (Furious) --Their last album, Mezzamorphis, was more than a nod in the direction of Radiohead's classic OK Computer. But here Matt Smith is writing sunshine melodies with a summertime vibe. Beach Boys without the cheese, Dodgy without the hippy overtones. A welcome return. (8/10) CL

RADIOHEAD: Amnesiac (Parlophone) --After taking the bait, hook line and sinker that this was to be the real Radiohead album, the next OK Computer, my initial disappointment is understandable. Where last year's Kid A was solid quality ffrom beginning to end, Amnesiac is patchy throughout. Standout tracks Knives Out and You And Whose Army are pure genius. Forget needing to hear the words. The drama in the music is breathtaking. But the highlights are eclipsed by too many dull moments. Pyramid Song, despite being a top five hit, simply falls short. Maybe a double album last year would have allowed Yorke and Co to move on from this experimental stage. Or maybe buying into that red herring still hurts just a little to much. (6/10) CL

GLORIOUS: Various (Sony) -- With Nu-metal dominating the music scene and indie receding into a distant memory, what do you do but release a indie compilation? A mixed bag featuring Muse, Mercury Rev and Robbie Williams, alongside some more obscure classics by Jeff Buckley and The Small Faces. Thankfully, Dancing in the Moonlight by the dire Toploader isn't included. But with obvious choice Andreas Johnson's top five hit Glorious, this is a must buy for any music fan, even if there is no Straw. (9/10) SB
